Our Team

  • Dr.
    Jo Des Roches
    Ph.D, LPC-S, NCC

I am a native of rural South Texas and have over a decade of experience in clinical community mental health. My experiences inspired me to create Rendezvous Counseling to provide quality and accessible mental health services to underserved and minority populations. Our vision is to provide access by utilizing HIPPA Compliant Teletherapy to all areas of Texas. Additionally, I have tried to make therapy affordable by providing potential clients access to Licensed Professional Counselor Associates. I am an LBGTQ and Gender, Romantic, and Sexuality Minority affirming therapist and believe in social justice work. In addition to my clinical practice, I am also an Adjunct Faculty member with Alamo Community Colleges. If I am not walking paths to wellness with my clients, supervising associates, or teaching, you will find me somewhere in the Texas Hill Country camping.

  • Rebecca Ayala,
    LPC

My name is Rebecca Ayala and I received my Master of Science in Biology from Clemson University and my Master of Arts in Counseling and School Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. I primarily use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered and Reality Therapy to help explore your strengths and overcome your setbacks. My areas of focus are working with life transitions, behavioral issues, anxiety, stress, self-esteem building, positive coping skills, learning self-care, and relationship issues. My absolute goal is to provide a warm and safe environment for building rapport and allowing the therapeutic relationship to do its work. My passion and empathy will help strengthen and invigorate you to make changes needed to lead a more fulfilling life. The ultimate success is having clients reach their personal goals.

  • Matt Crane,
    LPC-Associate
    Supervised by Dr. Jolene

Hey there! My name is Matt Crane and I am an LPC-A that graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary. I have a passion for helping people know themselves better and work through their lives and concerns. I work with a variety of people with struggles such as anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, relationships, and more. I primarily work from a psychodynamic perspective that seeks to understand individuals' unconscious motivations and desires that contribute to our conscious life. I am comfortable discussing any issue that you might bring up and can aid in helping you achieve a healthier and more fulfilling life. I seek to provide an environment that fosters trust, self-discovery, compassion, healing, and grace. My desire is to help people heal, hope, and harbor a love for themselves and others.

  • Heath Tolleson,
    LPC-Associate

Hello, My name is Heath Tolleson. I am a LPC- Associate and graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Counselor Education. I have worked in the criminal detention community as well as with students populations on the university level. Everyone is on their own path, and everyone's path is their own. I like to think of the client/therapist relationship as 'co-travelers.' Meaning, we are both on this journey together. I believe in a holistic approach to a person's emotional well-being can make all the difference in the world. I want to help clients to become more aware of how the world around them can have sudden, as well as, long term affects when it comes to therapy. If we can be present with our thoughts and ourselves, we're half way there. I have experience working with DBT, CBT, Narrative, and Solution Focused Therapy.
